Native Garden on a Small Block

The brief was for a low maintenance attractive native garden on this small block and useful edible plants close to the house. Planting a diverse mix of native wildflowers on the road reserve added to the space for a native garden and creates a beautiful butterfly, bird & bee friendly corridor.

Deciduous grape vines offer a compact way of growing fruit and provide the deck with summer shade and winter sun. There is also a lovely kitchen garden – a few square metres of vegies and salad leaves close at hand to the kitchen.
